Parish Priest of the Shrine
Fr. Devasagayaraj Zacharias is a catholic Priest and ordained in 1990 for the Archdiocese of Cuddalore – Pondicherry. He has rendered his pastoral service as Assistant parish priest in Eraiyur and Karaikal from 1990 to 1992 and Parish priest in Kommedu and Vellekulam from 1998 to 2008. He was the diocesan youth director from 1993 to 1997. He was appointed as the Regional Secretary for Tamil Nadu Scheduled Castes/Backward and Scheduled Tribes in 2006 to 2012 He was the Executive Secretary in Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India Office for Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes from 2012 to June 2019. He is also the director of Community Care Trust from 2000 to at present. He was one of the drafting committee experts of the Dalit policy.

Rev. Sr. Gerina Mary belongs to the congregation of Franciscan sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (FIHM). She is in charge of the Shrine Stall and since 2014 and helps as a Pilgrims Facilitator. She was worked as a teacher in Vadalore, Chidamabaram, Madurai, Vridhachalam, Pondicherry, Elakurichy, Kanigiri(Andhra Pradesh), Kallery, Gingee, Koothapakkam, and Cuddalore. She was in charge of English medium school at Thiruvaiyar. She was superior of the convent at Thiruppapuliyur, Panrutti, Sathipattu, Velanthangal. She had a special training for Montessori school children.
Mr. Antony Raj
Catechist
Mr. A. Antonyraj a trained catechist at Tindivanam in the batch 1974 and 1975. He served as Catechist in the following parishes: Kallakurichy, Veerareddikuppam, Eraiyur, Vadalore, Mandharakuppam, Neyveli Township, Konankuppam, and Anilady. From 2018 he works at Konankuppam as catechist, Sacristan and in charge of pilgrims’ rooms. He also helps in the parish and Shrine office works.
